About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Dental Nurse. The 12-month government-funded course, accredited by City & Guilds, leads to a Level 3 Extended Diploma. You will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, managing reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience. The role involves a variety of tasks, from patient communication and appointment booking to maintaining records and managing stock. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include becoming a team manager, dental therapist, dental hygienist, or orthodontic therapist. The training will be provided at the dental surgery.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Desired skills include strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative skills, teamwork, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude.
