About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to train as a Dental Nurse with HSS & PKS DENTAL LIMITED in Birmingham. The 12-month government-funded course, delivered by City & Guilds, leads to a Level 3 Extended Diploma. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, handling reception duties, and contributing to a positive patient experience. Key duties include chair-side support, managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, sterilizing equipment, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas. You will also be involved in managing stock of equipment and supplies, all while supporting the dental team in providing effective patient care.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organizational, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential. Patience and a non-judgmental approach are also required.
