About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to become an Apprentice Dental Nurse. You will undertake a 12-month government-funded course, a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. Your role will involve assisting dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, managing reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience. You will also be responsible for dealing with patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing stock. The apprenticeship includes on-the-job training at the dental surgery and functional skills training if required.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English at grade 4 or above, GCSE Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are desired, along with patience and a non-judgmental attitude.
