About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, delivered by City & Guilds through Harriet Ellis Training Solutions Limited. The role involves providing chair-side support to dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, handling reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Key responsibilities include answering phones, greeting patients, managing queries, taking payments, booking appointments, recording patient information, maintaining stock, and cleaning dental areas. Upon completion, with experience and further training, career progression opportunities include roles like team manager, dental practice manager, dental therapist, dental hygienist, or orthodontic therapist. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and Hepatitis B vaccination are required.

Entry requirements
