About the role

This is a 12-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, provided by City & Guilds and delivered by Harriet Ellis Training Solutions Limited. The role involves providing efficient and reliable chair-side support to dentists, assisting with sterilisation and preparation of equipment, and managing reception duties. You will also be responsible for dealing with patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and supporting patient well-being. The apprenticeship standard is Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3, with training conducted at the dental surgery. Functional Skills training may be provided if required. The employer is a healthcare provider offering general dental services, from routine check-ups to more complex procedures. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include roles such as team manager, team leader, or dental practice manager. Entry requirements
