About the role

Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to the dental surgery. The day-to-day duties of a dental nurse can span across all areas of the practice and can include reception, dealing with patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, sterilising and preparing equipment, recording patient records, supporting patients' wellbeing, cleaning dental areas, and managing stock of equipment and supplies. You will also undertake any other duties to support the dentists and senior team to provide effective patient care. This apprenticeship includes a Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard in Dental Nursing. Training will take place at the dental surgery with an average of 7 hours of off-the-job training per week. Functional Skills will be provided if required. Successful candidates will be required to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and get a Hepatitis B vaccine.
