About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual passionate about early years education to join a friendly nursery team. The role involves supporting children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. As a key person, you will be responsible for building effective relationships with a small group of children, ensuring their learning is fun and engaging. You will also liaise closely with parents and carers, working in partnership to meet each child's individual needs. Duties include teaching children, stimulating play experiences, and ensuring their safety and well-being, adhering to child protection procedures when necessary. You will actively participate in team meetings and training, taking responsibility for your personal development. The apprenticeship includes essential administrative skills and requires excellent communication, IT, and organizational skills, along with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. A permanent position is available upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, logical, teamwork, creative, initiative, non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness skills.
