About the role
Join Bowes Park Nurseries Ltd as an Early Year Apprentice in Enfield. This Level 3 apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in childcare and education. You will assist in developing and implementing procedures for monitoring child development, create a stimulating environment that supports children's educational needs, and produce accurate observations to track progress. Responsibilities include managing children's behaviour, following routines, sharing daily tasks like cleaning, and undertaking relevant training. You will contribute to regular staff meetings and training to enhance your skills and knowledge. The role emphasizes ensuring children have access to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through play, maintaining up-to-date development records for key children, and building positive relationships with children and their families. You will provide regular feedback to parents and work collaboratively to support children's development. The apprenticeship requires the ability to work independently, use initiative, and be flexible. You will adhere to policies and procedures for Health and Safety and Safeguarding, manage time effectively, and work with other professionals when necessary. This role involves helping children with feeding, changing, and toileting while maintaining high hygienic standards.
