About the role
This Childcare Level 3 apprenticeship at Mildmay Community Nursery offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in early years education. As a key person, you will be responsible for liaising with parents and carers to ensure each child's individual needs are met. You will work in partnership with families, advising the manager of any concerns regarding child well-being or safety. Your role will involve teaching children through stimulating play experiences, ensuring their safety and adhering to child protection procedures. You will actively participate in team meetings and professional development, including attending required training courses. The apprenticeship involves learning at the nursery location and may include Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English if applicable. Upon successful completion, there is a potential for a permanent position. Candidates will need to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
