About the role
This apprenticeship offers a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, specifically within the Early Years Educator pathway. The role involves acting as a key person to a group of children, building strong relationships with parents and carers, and ensuring each child's individual needs are met. You will work in partnership with parents and advise the manager on any concerns regarding child well-being or safety, maintaining confidentiality. The apprenticeship includes teaching children through stimulating play experiences and ensuring their safety by following child protection procedures. Successful candidates will actively participate in team and supervision meetings and are expected to take responsibility for their personal development, including attending required training. The apprenticeship standard includes a First Aid qualification, and training will be conducted on location. Functional Skills in Maths and English at Level 2 will be provided if applicable. Upon completion, there is potential for a permanent position.
