About the role

Resilient Healthcare is seeking an Apprentice Support Worker to join their team in Barrow-in-Furness. This role offers the opportunity to study towards a Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship with no prior experience required. The apprentice will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users in their own homes, ensuring their independence, dignity, and choice. Key duties include assisting with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic tasks, and providing emotional support. The role emphasizes adherence to safeguarding policies, maintaining accurate records, and protecting service user confidentiality. The apprentice will also gain experience in health and safety procedures, infection control, and equipment usage. Mandatory training, including the Care Certificate, will be provided. Upon successful completion of this 12-month apprenticeship, the individual will have obtained their Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship Level 2 qualification. There is a possibility of a full-time role being offered after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
