About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship for an Apprentice Dental Nurse, leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. The role involves assisting dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, performing reception duties, and supporting the patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing efficient chair-side support, managing patient records, ensuring patient well-being, cleaning dental areas, and managing stock. Successful candidates will need to pass a DBS check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccine.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential. Patience and a non-judgemental approach are also key.
