About the role
Are you passionate about giving children the best start in life? Happy Nest Nursery is looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals to join their friendly team. Your role will be supporting children aged 1 month to 5 years. You will also be a key person to a small group of children, making learning fun and liaising with parents and carers.
Key duties include acting as a key person, building relationships with parents/carers, ensuring children's needs are met, teaching children with appropriate support, and ensuring child safety. You will also actively participate in team meetings and attend required training for personal development. This is a child-centred approach that supports curiosity, independence, emotional well-being, and a love of learning, with an emphasis on nature-based exploration and sustainability. Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
