About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual passionate about early years to join a friendly team at Seymour Road Nursery Ltd. The apprenticeship focuses on supporting children aged 6 months to 5 years. Key responsibilities include acting as a key person, building strong relationships with parents/carers, ensuring each child's needs are met, and working in partnership with families. The role involves teaching children through stimulating play experiences, ensuring their safety and understanding of child protection procedures, and actively participating in team meetings and professional development. Successful candidates will also need to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This apprenticeship offers a pathway to permanent employment.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, along with strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, logical, team working, creative, initiative, non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness skills.
